SERVER RULES
These Server Rules (“Rules”) govern your conduct while
accessing or using any HYPEMC.NET game server or associated platform (collectively, the
“Services”). Our mission is to provide a fair, safe, and competitive environment for all
players.
These Rules are an extension of, and are incorporated by reference into,
our Terms of Service. Violating any rule listed below constitutes a breach of our Terms
and may result in account suspension or termination. This list is not exhaustive. Our
staff reserves the right to take action in situations that disrupt the community, even if
not explicitly listed.
CHAT AND COMMUNICATION RULES
These rules apply to all forms of communication on our platforms, including in-game chat, private messages, signs, item names, and our official Discord server.
- Respect Everyone: Treat all players and staff members with respect. Harassment, bullying, personal attacks, hate speech, discrimination (including racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.), or threatening others is strictly forbidden and will result in severe punishment.
- No Spamming or Flooding: Do not send repetitive messages, overuse capital letters, or flood the chat with random characters. Allow for a clean and readable chat for all players.
- No Advertising: Promoting other Minecraft servers, websites, social media channels, or Discord servers is not allowed. This includes both direct and indirect advertising.
- Keep Chat Appropriate: Do not discuss or share content that is sexually explicit, graphically violent, related to illegal substances, or otherwise inappropriate for a diverse community. This also includes avoiding overly sensitive topics that may lead to intense arguments.
- Language: To ensure effective moderation, please use English in all public chat channels. You may use other languages in private messages or party chats.
FAIR PLAY AND GAMEPLAY RULES
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any attempt to
gain an unfair advantage over other players.
- No Cheating or Hacking: The use of any disallowed modifications, hacked clients, or external software to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, KillAura, Aimbot, X-Ray, Fly, Speed hacks, and autoclickers that exceed a reasonable clicking speed.
- No Bug or Exploit Abuse: If you discover a bug or exploit (e.g., an item duplication glitch), you must report it immediately to a staff member. Intentionally abusing bugs for personal gain is forbidden and will be punished severely.
- No Cross-Teaming or Unintended Alliances: Forming alliances or teams with players outside of your designated team (or in any solo-based mode) to gain an unfair advantage is forbidden.
- Unfair Advantages & Loopholes: Any attempt to bypass server mechanics or rules to gain an advantage is prohibited. This includes things like AFK farming to earn rewards (unless the gam_mode explicitly allows it) or using macros for gameplay advantages.
- Griefing & Trapping: Intentionally destroying other players' creations or trapping players is forbidden in protected game modes (e.g. Skyblock). This rule does not apply to gamemodes where raiding and destruction are an intended part of the core gameplay.
ACCOUNT AND GENERAL RULES
- Account Security is Your Responsibility: You are responsible for all actions taken on your account. Never share your password. Staff members will NEVER ask for your password. We are not responsible for accounts lost due to poor security.
- No Ban Evasion: Using an alternate account to play on our server while your main account is banned is not allowed. This will result in a permanent ban on the alternate account and may extend the duration of your original punishment.
- No Real World Trading (RWT): Selling or buying any in-game items, currency ("Crystals"), or services for real-world money or other external currencies is strictly forbidden. This also prohibits the selling or trading of Minecraft accounts.
- Inappropriate Names & Skins: our Minecraft username, pet names, and skin must be appropriate for all ages. Names or skins that are offensive, discriminatory, or sexually suggestive are not permitted.
- Impersonation: Impersonating a staff member or another player, especially for malicious purposes, is not allowed.
PUNISHMENTS AND APPEALS
Our web store allows you to purchase a limited license
for virtual goods, including our virtual currency known as “Crystals.”
- Punishment System: Our staff uses a progressive punishment system. Minor offenses may result in a warning or a temporary mute. Repeated or more severe violations will lead to longer mutes or temporary bans. The most serious offenses (e.g., cheating, hate speech) will result in a permanent ban without prior warning.
- Appeal Process: If you believe you have been punished unfairly, you have the right to appeal. All punishment appeals must be submitted through the designated channel on our official Discord server. Discussing your punishment in public chat is not the proper venue. The decision made on your appeal is final.
- Respect Staff Decisions: Our staff members are here to help and enforce the rules. Arguing with, disrespecting, or harassing staff members about a punishment is not acceptable. If you have a complaint about a staff member's conduct, please contact an administrator privately.
UPDATES TO THESE RULES
We may update these Rules from time to time. The updated
version will be indicated by the revised “Last Modified” date. Your continued use of the
Services after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Rules.
